At the heart is a specially manufactured lens, produced to my own specification. From the performer's view, information concealed beneath the card is clearly visible. From the spectator's side, Mountebank remains completely opaque.

A spectator's billet can be returned to the items from your pocket and, as you place them into their hand, you see exactly what they've written or drawn, while your audience sees nothing.
